Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy

Pooch Republic ships items using either Australia Post or a courier depending on the location and weight. Couriers cannot ship to PO Boxes however so you will need to provide a residential or business street address if you select delivery via courier.  

Parcels are delivered to the shipping address you provide when completing the order process. Please provide a residential or business street address as not all couriers ship to PO Boxes. All parcels must be signed for upon delivery so where possible please ensure someone will be available to sign for the goods at your nominated delivery address.  

If there is no one home at the time of delivery, the parcel will usually be returned to the local Post outlet and a card will be left notifying the addressee of its location. Wherever possible, please ensure that there will be someone present to collect your delivery.  

If it is unlikely that anyone will be home when delivery is attempted, you may consider one of the following alternatives:  

  • Include special delivery instructions on the parcel (i.e. if unattended, please leave parcel at door, in carport, etc.)  
  • Choose an address at which you know the parcel will be able to be delivered (i.e. work, care of family member, care of neighbour, etc.)  

Please be aware that once delivery is made (including by your instructions) that ownership & responsibility for the item(s) transfers to you. Pooch Republic does not subsidies delivery costs to resend uncollected parcels that have been returned to sender. Delivery charges to resend parcels will be charged at the full Australia Post or Courier rates.  

Returns Terms & Conditions  

We are committed to honouring our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. We accept returns for up to 14 days from purchase, providing it is unopened and in original condition (including packaging).  

You must contact info@poochrepublic.com.au before returning goods as we will need further information on why the item is being returned. You will be eligible for a refund, exchange or store credit if the circumstances meet the criteria stipulated in the Australian Consumer Law. The customer is responsible for the cost of an item's return, unless there was an error on our behalf. 

Please make sure that you are certain about your purchase and have measured your dog correctly (if applicable). We do not offer refunds, exchange or store credit for change of mind purchases.
