Simply measure your dog's neck at the base for the proper collar size. The collar does not stretch itself, so make sure you leave two fingers of space between the collar and your dogs neck.
The measurement range indicates how small the collar can be made (from the buckle to the first hole) to the overall length of the collar.
These collars are made from a combination of a soft rubber type material called neoprene reinforced with nylon webbing for added strength and durability. These collars are particularly great for dogs that spend a lot of time in the water.
While they aren’t completely waterproof, they are going to stay cleaner and hold less odour than a standard nylon collar.
